Open Recruitment Exceptions Guidance to assist with preparing a request for an exception to recruitment (promotional opportunities, hire highly specialized talent).  Exceptions to conducting an open recruitment are available as appropriate and are subject to approval. Employment of International Employees Employees who are not U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents will need to obtain a work permit. Contact Lizz Scott for more information. Background Checks All employment is contingent upon a successful criminal background check. Follow these steps to request one. Email requests and Cornerstone background check requests are separate processes. Hiring Manager, Primary Owner, or Departmental representative
Reference Checks Hiring officials are encouraged to contact references to ensure candidates are qualified for the position.
