Certificate programs are learning tracks designed to meet the needs of the OSU workforce.
Getting Started
Discuss your options with your supervisor and get started at your convenience. Consider the time commitment and applicable classes prior to registering. You can enroll in a certificate program at talent.okstate.edu. Access the Learning Library via the top navigation bar, and in the "type" filter, select "Certificate program" to view details and enroll in available programs.
What's New with OSU Certificate Programs?
With the transition to our new learning platform, several key Certificate Programs have been updated to better support your growth and success.
Stronger alignment with OSU’s Core Competencies
Teamwork, Professionalism, Service, Stewardship, and Supervisory (for those who lead others).
What are Core Competencies?
Core competencies are the essential skills and behaviors that help you succeed in
your role while supporting OSU’s mission. They provide clear expectations for how
we work, collaborate, and grow as employees.
You can be assured, if you have a certificate program currently in progress, your records will be transferred and fully recognized. All new enrollments will begin in the 2025 format.
- The Ambassador Program (AP)
Designed to meet the professional development needs of front-line employees who serve as Ambassadors for OSU.
- The Leadership Development Program (LDP)
An innovative program designed to enhance the leadership skills of managers, supervisors, and administrative personnel at OSU.
- The Advanced Leadership Program (ALP)
Once you complete the Leadership Development Program, you will be eligible to continue your leadership skills through ALP which is a calendar year program.
Registration for this program closes January 31 due to being a calendar year program.
- The Procurement Professional Certification Program (PPC)
A two year program designed for those who are engaged in regular purchasing activities of a department or unit.
- The Facilities Management Leadership Certificate Program
Available to Facilities Management employees who wish to develop management skills to effectively lead people.
- The Sponsored Programs Professional Certificate (SPPC)
A program to prepare participants to effectively support faculty and staff with their sponsored program activities.
