You have required training as well as recommended training specific to your position at OSU.

Your access to training opportunities is through Sharepoint which requires your O-key credentials to access the training modules. Discuss proof of completion with your supervisor, or manager, or training assignor as different courses have different requirements.

Module Descriptions
- Required Title VII and Title IX Training
Employee Title VII and Title IX Training is an annual requirement. Upon completion of the assessment in this module, you will be prompted to email your completion. You will also have an option to print a completion certificate if your department requires proof of completion.
If you do not email your completion or print your certificate at the time of completion, you will have to go through the module again to access these options.

Do I have to take this training if I took the 1is2Many training at the beginning of the semester?
Yes. If you are an employee of OSU you will need to complete this module to fulfill the annual requirement for employees.
- Required IT Security Awareness Training
OSU is committed to educating all members of the OSU community who have been granted access to university data, whether faculty, staff, students or affiliates, on cybersecurity threats having the potential to cause harm to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational data. In response to OSU Policy 3-0605, the OSU Department of Information Technology (IT) is providing an “Information Security Awareness Training” for faculty and staff who access the university’s information technology resources.
This module is required for all faculty and staff. Per the policy referenced above, all new employees must complete this training within their initial 30 days and all employees are required to complete this training program at least every 3 years thereafter. For this initial launch to campus, all faculty and staff are asked to complete this training by October 1, 2022.
If you do not email your completion or print your certificate at the time of completion, you will have to go through the module again to access these options.
FAQ:
I took IT Security Training upon enrollment at the beginning of the semester through the student training portal. Do I have to complete this module as well?
No. If you completed the student module through the 1is2Many site you do not have to complete this module.
- Minors on Campus
Although this course may not be a campus-wide requirement, it may be required for your position.
Upon completion, your department may ask you to verify your completion by printing the certificate of completion, signing a document or completing a questionnaire. If you do not print your certificate at the time of completion, you will have to go through the module again to access this option.
- OSU Campus Mental Health Training Video
Although this course is not a campus-wide requirement, the information included in this video is important for all employees.
Discuss completion certification with your supervisor prior to viewing the video.
- OSU Clery Act Training
Although this course may not be a campus-wide requirement, it may be required by your department.

- OSU Safety Training: Active Shooter
Although this course may not be a campus-wide requirement, it is strongly encouraged and may be required by your department.

- OSU Search Committee Training
This module addresses foundational concepts and best practices for the recruitment and selection of faculty and staff for established search committees at Oklahoma State University.
- OSU E-Verify Training
Any employee (full or part-time) who processes new hire packets and/or I-9's must complete E-Verify training.
E-Verify is a verification process to confirm new hires have provided accurate social security information and are eligible for employment.
- OSU FERPA Training
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law enacted in 1974 that protects the privacy of student education records. FERPA applies to any public or private elementary, secondary, or post-secondary school and any state or local education agency that receives funds under an applicable program of the US Department of Education.
- OSU HIPAA Training
The OSU/A&M Group Health Plan is considered a covered entity under HIPAA and requires anyone with access to protected health information (PHI) through BenefitFocus and/or Banner to complete annual training.
- OSU Purchasing Card (Pcard) Training
If you are required to use a Pcard or access the Works software you will need to complete Pcard training for small dollar purchases.
