OSU's Pet Therapy Program
was established as a wellness program in 2013 and has experienced much success.
The Pete's Pet Posse Mission is to enhance the wellbeing of the Cowboy family through
professionally trained and nationally certified pet therapy teams in collaboration
with campus resources and generous supporters.
Pete’s Pet Posse was created through a cooperative effort of the OSU President's Office, OSU College of Veterinary Medicine, OSU Veterinary Medical Hospital, University Counseling Services, University Human Resources, and the Employee Assistance Program.

In 2023, Pete’s Pet Posse reached a remarkable milestone: 10 years of pet therapy
at OSU. Throughout the year, we commemorated this achievement with a diverse array
of celebratory events, all leading up to the unforgettable Cowboys, Canines, and Cocktails.

Prairie Arts Center launches new season of youth programming Aug 8 The Prairie Arts Center will kick off its fall youth programming on Aug. 27 with the first Art Academy class of the 2024-25 academic year. Art Academy is an after-school course designed for students who wish to explore and grow their artistic aptitude. Students learn and practice foundational skills in the visual arts and are exposed to various 2D and 3D mediums. Art Academy students also develop strong visual literacy and critical thinking skills by viewing and discussing their own artwork and the artwork of others.
Master Wellness Volunteer program boosts public value of OSU Extension Jul 2 OSU Extension is looking for volunteers to take part in the Master Wellness Volunteer program and working alongside family and consumer sciences educators statewide to promote healthy living.
