Attending Training

Attendance is expected with enrollment in a training session unless a cancellation notice is provided. Attendance is being on time, no more than 15 minutes late, and attending the full class to receive credit for the session.

Please read the following information regarding no-show or late withdrawl fees. In addition, we have added a attendance and cancellation information for our series programs.

Attendance Notices for All Classes

If you are unable to attend a session for which you registered, you must provide a 48-hour notice by withdrawing from your session in the LMS. If you do not provide timely notice or you no-show your session without notice, your Bursar account will be charged a $10.00 fee for a standard instructor-led course or a $25 fee for a computer course. In most cases, a substitute may be sent in your place. Should you feel you have experienced extenuating circumstances preventing your ability to provide timely notice or send a substitute, you may send an email to osu-trng@okstate.edu to explain your situation and request a fee exemption.

Attendance Policy for a Series

No-show charges for series are different due to the coordination of the speakers, rooms, and materials. Refer to the following for attendance and fee structure for each series:

Management Leadership Institute

This certificate program includes 10, in-person and virtual sessions and three, one-hour, 1:1 virtual coaching visits. Participants must be able to attend nine of the ten sessions and three, one-hour virtual coaching sessions. If less than nine sessions are attended participants do not graduate and are charged $20 per session missed.

Supervisor Academy

This series includes 7 weekly sessions. Participants must complete 6 of the 7 sessions to receive a certificate of completion. No-show penalties are discussed in the first session of the series.
