The account is a bank savings account in the employee’s name, it rolls over every year and can also be rolled into an IRA for retirement savings! However, with an HSA comes a lot of IRS rules and trying to determine your eligibility can be cumbersome, especially if you and your spouse have different health plans through your respective employers.
