Cigna Dental Insurance
Did you know OSU/A&M will be changing dental insurance to Cigna Dental for 2017?

Employees and their dependents will have the opportunity to make new plan elections during Annual Benefits Enrollment for the 2017 calendar year. Employees electing dental will choose from a Low or High plan.

New plan features include:

  • 2 cleanings, exams and X-rays per year
  • Cigna Customer Service information lines are 24/7
  • myCigna mobile app
  • Employees will have access to the myCigna online portal allowing you to view your ID card, search for a provider, coverage details, claim information, cost of care and quality comparison tools

Major differences between the two plans:

  • Low Plan – no orthodontia coverage, plan year maximum of $1,500
  • High Plan - Orthodontia coverage for dependents under the age of 19 and TMD/TMJ coverage,  plan year maximum of $2,000

Employees who wish to have dental insurance for 2017 must enroll online using Self Service Banner during Annual Benefits Enrollment, November 1-18, 2016.  Additional information to come regarding Annual Enrollment and Self Service Banner.  Please see the Cigna rate chart at http://hr.okstate.edu/new-dental-and-vision-providers-2017

EyeMed Vision Insurance

Did you know OSU/A&M is switching vision insurance to EyeMed for 2017?  EyeMed offers richer benefits (at a reduced cost from our current vendor) such as: 

  • $10 eye exam copay
  • $0 frames copay, along with a $150 allowance
  • $0 contact lenses copay, along with $120 allowance
  • Ability to purchase frames AND contact lenses within the same calendar year
  • 15% off the retail price of Lasik
  • 40% off hearing exams and hearing aids
  • EyeMed Members App to view your ID card, see benefit details, and find a provider near you

New Employee Training - Wellness Benefits
As America’s Healthiest Campus, OSU employees have access to many services aimed at improving overall wellness. Benefits eligible employees have access to the Colvin and Seretean Wellness Centers, group fitness classes, and different wellness-based classes at no cost to them.
